Every filing as it lands, with the arithmetic already done.About this page
The latest quarterly results page streams every result filed with the exchanges, newest first, with the arithmetic already done: year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter changes on sales, EBIDT, net profit and EPS, and the operating margin in basis points, all computed from the filed figures. The season strip shows how many companies have reported so far, how many filed today, and how many are still to come.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the numbers on this page come from?
Every figure is taken from the company's own results filing with the exchange, in ₹ crore. The year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter changes and the operating margin are computed from those filed figures — nothing is typed in by hand.
What does YoY vs QoQ mean on a results card?
YoY compares the quarter against the same quarter last year, which removes seasonality. QoQ compares against the quarter just gone, which is seasonal for most businesses — a festive quarter usually beats the one before it regardless of the trend.
Why do some cards say 'To profit' or 'Loss cut' instead of a percentage?
When the base quarter was a loss, a percentage change would be meaningless, so the change is named instead: turned to profit, loss cut, loss wider, or turned to loss.
Why is a bank's card different from other companies?
Banks and other lenders earn a spread, not a sales margin, so their card shows net interest income in place of sales and omits the operating-margin row rather than printing a number that means nothing for a lender.
How fresh is this page?
Filings are ingested continuously through the day and each card carries the exchange's own filed timestamp. The counts at the top refresh with the stream.
